-What's your idea? - Hachi asked.

-I-I don't think you'll like this but...-y-you can pretend you're a boy. - Kaori whispered, as she handed some eyeliner.

-....whaaaaat? I can't do that. I'm gonna have to change my voice and everything...- Hachi mumbled.

-Actually, no. Look.-Kaori pointed to specific part of the text: "we respect diverstiy on all kinds of inklings and octolings."

-See, you can be a boy with girl-ish things!- Kaori suggested. But Hachi gave her an odd look.

-Oh! So, how about this?- Kaori got her phone and showed Hachi a text.

"how are female octolings different from male ones?"

"eye markings: female octolings have an extra mark on their eyes, but male ones don't."

-Here's some foundation, too.- Kaori handed Hachi some foundation.

-Okay, here it goes...- Hachi clicked a button which said "make a request" and started putting the information needed.

-Rank :X.... Age:17..... Disabilities: none.... done! Now, I just need to send an e-mail.-Hachi whispered to herself, as she clicked "send" and a message appeared on the screen, which said: "the reply will come tomorrow."

The next day...

Hachi woke up and looked on her phone. She became very excited as she saw the message on her phone.

"You were accepted. Please come to the house on Eeltail Alley at 18:00 PM sharp.

Address: North of Splatsville, Eeltail Alley, 2837. 7890-

From Vintage, leader of the X-blood."

Her heart beat fast with happinness.

18:00 PM

-It's here....- Hachi whispered to herself, as she rang the doorbell.

The door was opened by a girl who seemed shy with long hair and bangs. She wore black leggings and a shirt from a band that Hachi liked, she had a rather soft voice.

-Hello, I'm Omega, so, you're....Hachi Hotaru, right....?

-Y-yes!- Hachi answered with confidence, in a boyish voice.

-Come in....Vintage's waiting for you. -Omega said, opening the door wider.

They walked to a living room and Vintage and another girl were there too.

-Hello, Hachi. - Vintage said. He had a deep, yet light voice.

His eyes were blood-red, along with strange lines on his iris. He wore the takoroka nylon vintage, and on his ears, many piercings. He also wore leggings and orca-hi tops, as shoes.

-Come here, let me tell you some things about our team.- Vintage said, while his smile became a neutral frown.

-So, as you may know, we are the X-blood. And I'm Vintage, but my real name is Ichigo.

and I'm also the "leader" of the team.

The conversation went on for an hour.

An hour later....

-See you tomorrow. - Vintage said, waving goodbye to Hachi.

-Bye! - Hachi replied.

-.....is this the right thing to do....? - she thought.
